For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart. 1 Samuel 16:7

Hello. Today's blog is about acknowledging God for being God. Before you can properly praise him, you must first know his power and what he is capable of doing. God does not see man the way we do. He does not see an appearance, he sees a heart. God can do many things that men cannot. Unlike man, he is everywhere at all times. He knows all things. He has infinite power. Only God can heal the sick and give life. Realizing all of God's great contributions to your life is the first step of accepting Christ. Knowing that God is the reason you have everything that you have and can do what you do is what I mean by acknowledging him. You can only truely obey him once you completely rely on his power. The Christian who neglects the Holy Spirit is like a lamp that's not plugged in.
